What a great place! I walk so many of my clients dogs here and they all love it. So what there is a bit of mud makes the experience better and the dogs love it. I’d rather go here than anywhere else. The price 10/10. The range of enrichment and toys 10/10. The space and all the trees and bushes the dogs love it. Highly recommend and will recommend to my clients
I brought my 5 month old French Bulldog to this dog field. The fields were as described (muddy!), but what can you expect at this time of the year! He had a fantastic time, loved every minute of it, rolling in the mud, jumping in puddles and finding tennis balls. I happened to bump into one of the owners who was doing some maintenance on a fence, he was very apologetic for the muddiness – not like he could do anything about it! – he was incredibly professional, friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend booking your dog in to have a good run around, do bring some wellies though. Thank you very much, looking forward to my next visit.
we went there last Saturday and what a disappointment. It has been pointed out in the advert that it is muddy, but that it is that muddy I did not expect. Very difficult to walk in and the dogs did not enjoy it either. It was even not possible to get into the gate due to a massive paddle without getting your feed we even with wellies.
The bottom field was flooded. If the field is in a stat like that people should be warned or it should not be available for booking till the field has recovered. Also the tennis balls advertised we could not see and as i said it was not even possible to get to the seating area. I will never go there again.
Great dog field. I’ve been to lots of fields in Kent, Sussex and Essex.
This is one of the best, good safe space to let your dogs run around, good for dog training and dog sniffing as there loads of trees and bushes.
Easy booking system with 6ft fences with a easy car parking area
Been going for years.
Booked an hour here and it was a great secure field for my dog to have a run around off lead. There was a covered area to sit if it started to rain and water for dogs to drink. Easy to get into once the gate code has been sent.
Only real downside I would say was the muddy entrance where you park…..needs some attention to the hard standing area and where you enter the field but apart from that great…..will be going back again.
Lovely field, a good size. Booking was easy and entrance to the field too. The dogs were very tired and hungry when we got home. Only downside was I picked up three lots of other dogs poop!
My dog absolutely loved this .i felt she would be safe and comfortable there so did we I would definitely use these ground’s again on a regular basis she was totally knackerd .
Seamless booking and check in. Good amount of space for your pet to sniff and run around. Has fresh water for the dogs and benches with shade for humans to rest on a hot day. would use this field again
Great place to let your dogs have a good run about
Love it…despite the rain, me, Kev and our Boxers Carlos and Wally had a lovely time.
Nice and flat, dog agility apparatus and a lovely shelter from the rain which has a water butt for eco friendly rehydration for your dogs unless like mine, they prefer to drink out of muddy puddles!
Have used this field 4-5 times with my dogs +/- their friends. Parking and booking system are great. The only real negative is the volume of fouling left by others – it was everywhere. I contacted The Acres to inform them of this, and had no acknowledgement or response which would have been nice.
Absolutely brilliant. It’s somewhere to take the dog which is 100% safe. We can let him off his lead and he can’t get out anywhere. The dog seems to love it as well.
Gem of a place – plenty of shade when it’s too hot or raining. Great squishy obstacles that aren’t too high for all breeds and ages and plenty to sniff, it’s also nice to see they are listening to previous customers feedback and improving what they have in the field every time we go. A tunnel or sandpit might be a fab addition? Also the customer care really is outstanding, we booked a few weeks back and sadly didn’t get the updated code so booked last minute to go elsewhere as when we arrived we couldn’t gain access – they were very apologetic and were quick to respond and helped us out. We can’t wait to return (it’s also nice to see that gate code is being changed on a regular basis so you feel extra secure unlike some places we’ve been to) thanks again x
Lots of space for the dogs to play and explore plus some extra toys and activities and a nice seating area for owners. 3 tired and happy dogs after an hour.
So pleased to finally have a local secure dog-walking field. It has open areas for running and copses for exploring. There is water provided for the dogs and a poo bin. The shade/rain cover is great, and the agility equipment. Good parking arrangement with space to wait outside or inside the first gate, with a second gate securing the field.
Very happy to recommend to the dogs of Tonbridge and Hildenborough, and further afield!
This field has been a life saver for my two extremely prey-driven German Shorthaired Pointers. Finally a safe space where they can run off all that energy and be the rocket dogs they were born to be! Old hound is much better for all the exercise and young’un much calmer.
The Acres’ field is well equipped with everything we could possibly want: poo bags, bin, water, agility obstacles, lots of flat running space and some bushy terrain for exploring, fresh water and a fox/rabbit proof fence… even tennis balls! Booking & comms with the team is smooth and effortless.
Definitely recommend.
Good
Really enjoyed it here. There’s obstacles for the dogs and shelter for the humans. Area is secure and appreciated the mud warning pre arrival as it was a mud zone! Super fun, loved it, will be back.
Fantastic fun for my dog,he is nervous with most other dogs so this was great fun for him in a safe secure setting, his friend joined us for the last half hour, they ran and ran,now he is asleep,I thoughly recommend this and will use again
What a find!
This is by far the best dog field in Kent. I’ve tried many and find Acres works on many levels.
The space is huge and there are different areas for my dogs to explore. We love to take our dogs there as a family because my children enjoy guiding them over the equipment that has been set out. Dog agility training would usually cost a fortune but we get to do it in the sunshine for just the cost of the field hire.
It is extremely secure and I love the fact that there are seats and a table under a lit shelter. These extra touches make it relaxing for dog owner as I can sit and watch my my dogs hurtling around.
There is always water for dogs, as well as poop bags and a dog bin.
The booking system couldn’t be easier. It gets quite booked up but the online booking means you can book a regular slot/s each week and it’s very easy to check if it’s available there and then.
This place really is the highlight of my puppies’ week. I love the fact that they get the freedom that they need, but without the fear of them running off or of other dogs.
We had a fabulous session this morning. Chilly but sun shining.. My whippet just ran and ran whilst my elderly little lurcher sniffed every inch of ground. The mud has gone for now making the ground pleasant to walk on. Both dogs have crashed out! 🤩
This doggie field is amazing. Secure and large with lots of doggie play equipment. Water available too. Lovely little two seater bench under a canopy which is perfect for the dogs “humans”!! Would highly recommend.
Brilliant and very easy to book.
We went with a group of our daycare and boarding dogs. They all had so much fun and there is an abundance of space.
Secure lovely paddock to exercise and entertain your dogs. Highly recommend
Great find in the Kent area. I’ve been to a few dog parks and this is by far my dogs favourite: it offers the most space. Great for humans too: well-managed and a good, covered seating area.
Amazing space. Great area to really work on that training without the worry of your dog chasing a pheasant. My dog is quite small and can get through the smallest of gaps and she couldn’t here. Great obstacles, balls to had and a lovely barked shelter to snuggle around in. The middle party with trees and bramble is great to hide around and worry on that recall. Great job . Will be booking up again soon.
We visited on what turned out to be a rather warm day. Bursts of energy & much exploration were followed by rests in any shade avaliable, the dog, not us ! A seat would be a nice addition for the humans 🙂 😀 & maybe half hour slots?
Will deffo return.
Fabulous to have this close by. My dog gets really excited as the car pulls up. Nice varied space. Trees and clear open field for doing zoomies. Nice touches with the agility equipment and shaded area.
Doggy heaven 😍
Great secure area for letting your dog roam safely & freely. We have 4 rescue Brittanys & we have been working on recall with 2 of them, so The Acres is perfect for that
We love this field. My dog is reactive and can’t be let off lead yet, so this gives her some much needed freedom.
Nice a tidy/ clean, with lots of toys. And a nice area with trees that she loves running through!
Will definitely be using again!
Great, secure space for exercising your dog. Some thoughtful touches too, with the equipment, ball ‘vending machine’ and shaded area.
Great to have this secure dog field open right on our door step. We have been needing this for years for our staffie. Could do with a bench to sit on but other than that is got everything that’s needed.
