Profile
A large, secure dog park with two distinct fields (Hay field and Canal field) offering a variety of features such as agility equipment, a sandpit, and toys provided for dogs. The fields are enclosed and safe for dogs to run off-lead, with picnic benches and a portaloo available. Parking is convenient, and the fields are set in scenic countryside with views of rolling hills. Poo bags and bins are provided. Although the park is loved by many for its amenities and cleanliness, it can become extremely muddy in wet weather, which may affect usability, especially for smaller dogs or those sensitive to mud. Some shade is offered by trees in the Canal field, and there’s a hose for washing muddy dogs. The park is bookable and charges a fee.

– Water Play Area: No mention of water play area such as ponds or splash pads; references to muddy puddles are due to weather conditions.
– Agility Equipment: Repeated mentions of agility equipment, obstacles, and exercise apparatus.

A brilliant place to take your dog in a secure large Paddock with all the fun and games you could wish for! Toys are provided or you can take your own and there is agility equipment all set in beautiful surroundings ,plenty places to sit down and even a portaloo , hand sanitiser gel and poo bags! Parking is spacious and easy.
It’s a great place to train your young dog or just give your reactive dog some space and freedom. Can’t recommend it enough, prices are very reasonable and booking online is very easy.
Fantastic area for hoonage for the Spanner
A great facility. We took our 14 week old puppy for her first ever session today and she loved it, as did we. Lovely surroundings with views of rolling hills. We will be booking in weekly from now on.
Very clean and not too muddy for the time of the year. They had a great time.
Great experience for dogs in a scure field
Our hounds have a great time running and sniffing at this field
I was up from sussex for Christmas. With a year old Parsons Terrier. Due to the time of year and weather yes it was muddy. But what do you expect in the winter. My dog loved it. You have a hose to wash your dog off. Which down here isn’t always available. Plenty of toys and agility equipment. Plenty of poo bags dotted around the edge of the field and bins to put them in. Will definitely use again when I visit. The field was very well fenced.
Very secure.
Best dog field we have been too! My boy had a great time, and the lady we phoned when we got the field wrong answered very fast, and was very kind.
Brilliant to let dogs run & play totally safe & enclosed. Beautiful setting the horses in the next fields were a bonus
Lots of open space for dogs to run around.
Could do with some shelter for Dog owners to stand under while it’s raining .
*update*. Owner contacted to say can call to check which field the ponies are in before booking which was nice. It’s a nice space but Hay field has been surrounded by horses of late (9 today) which depending on your dog can be challenging, Canal field can sometimes be better but very muddy. Great if your dog is chilled not so good if you need a low stimulus environment
Fantastic place to take your dog
The dogs loved it. Free to run around and played on the equipment.
Absolutely fabulous dog field.
Went to the Canal field for the first time after previously having a fab time on the Hay field. Wasn’t a great experience to be honest, we left 20 minutes early due to the amount of dog poo that was on the field and the fact that our dog then kept trying to eat it! Something he never does! There was no fresh water out so remember to take your own. It seems a bit run down and tired and we won’t bother with this field again due to other disrespectful dog owners not cleaning up after their dogs.
Our 4 huskies loved the hay field! Excellent service and equipment provided. Have used both fields now and the hay field is the favourite. Will be returning time and time again.
Thank you for a lovely place to let the dogs be free and safe! 🐾🐾
First time visiting today with our beagle. Very secure field, with agility activities. I was happy to sit on the bench with my coffee, whilst our dog explored. Would recommend and we will return.
Brilliant pair of fields – canal field has more trees providing shade than hay field, but both have agility equipment and a picnic bench. Canal field also has a sandpit and a portaloo. Easy to book, easy to rearrange, great service
Updated to 4 stars after speaking to owner, appreciate the honesty and information. offered a refund or to be rebooked in.
Unuseable for a small dog due to deep mud. Three stars as I did receive an email to explain it was very muddy and there was a hose to use afterwards. I don’t think it’s okay to charge to use a field in this condition. Maybe you could look at halving the field to rest on one side during wet months.
We turned up after having paid 7.50 but we took one look at it and didn’t go in. It was so muddy! I’m sure it’s brilliant when it’s not so wet. I know you can’t help the weather but not sure bookings should be taken if the ground is so bad
Unbelievably muddy, across the whole field, ankle deep quagmire. I think some mention of this should be made on the website. I would not call it picturesque!
Don’t bother in the winter months it’s a complete quagmire, you’ll spend the rest of the day bathing the dog an cleaning the car..
Brilliant for our two labradors and they enjoy the swampy conditions. You need wellies, etc., and just bear in mind the mud is an inch or two deep in places. Only issue can be finding the poo if it’s in an especially marshy bit. The boys come home dirty, tired, but happy.
Twice I have visited only to take one look at the field and turn around and leave. Consistently water logged and muddy. Yes it rains and yes fields get muddy, but other fields in the local area are never as bad as this one.
Very very Muddy . But will be great in summer
Ideal for letting your dogs run free, the field is very secure and they have a great agility area.
Sadly it does get very muddy, there was no fresh water for the dogs & there was poo in the field…. I feel it just needs some TLC hence the 3 stars
My daughter booked for her dog Kyro and my dog Klaus. They loved it. We went at dusk . Great enclosed area with plenty to do . Even a public toilet. Highly recommend
Great value for the money, my 2 dogs love the freedom of running around playing on a secure feild. Even when it’s dark they still have fun. Great sized 5***** feild with onsite human portable loo. 🚻
Great secure place for your dog to burn off as much energy as it needs. Some agility stuff there too if you can stop the rolling in the muddy puddles 🤣
Booked a half an hour slot for our first time. Our little dog had a ball! She’s an older rescue and has bad recall and is very reactive so this was perfect for her to let off some steam. Will definitely return!
Loved this field, Attended today for the first time with my 2 cockapoos and really enjoyed it! The toilets and benches are a nice touch will definitely return!
Good space, however it can get really muddy. And I mean it.
Absolutely brilliant we took 8 GSDs we book every week now great facilities. Very Happy Pack!!
Absolutely water logged. It requires some serious play grade bark putting down so your dog isn’t completely covered from head to toe in mud.
Lovely, clean, quiet place to run your pup, our boy loved the obsticals, would recommend 🐶🐶
I came to this field last weekend with my dog and kids. My dog loved it as he was able to free and I was able to work on name recall. Its was so lovely to see how happy he was just being able to run freely and be able to play with my kids in a big open space. Will definitely be going again xx
Brilliant field with lots of fun activities for the dog. Only downside was the lighting as we went at 4.30pm and it was pitch black but we came home with a very tired and happy dog and that’s the main thing. Will certainly be back.
I’ve been to a couple of dog fields now, and this has definitely been the best so far. The field was easy to find and one car can park in the field itself. There is some good agility apparatus to play on and a sandpit too! My dog loved it.
Safe and secure could do with mirefor the dogs to do
This is the best place for my dogs, I am a home boarder and sometimes having other people’s dogs can be difficult when it comes to walks etc, since I’ve found this field my life has been so much better ,knowing that the dog’s get good exercise and have fun of lead and I don’t have to worry about them disappearing . Kerry has been amazing with us she’s so lovely and accommodates us in everyway possible. Absolutely recommend this to anyone with dogs . Even the kids love going 🙂
My dog Asa loves it here as soon as he spots going up the lane to the field he can’t wait to get out
I’m fairly new to this field and my dogs just love it. Toys are also supplied in case you forget your own. Poo bags supplied on the gate next to waste bin. There are water bowls but the water is outside. I filled one on leaving for the next doggy ❤️
Secure paddock, dog loves it.
Great field for our new puppy to experience a good run out off the lead. Lots of toys and smells. He particularly loved the long grass area to roll around. Would recommend for anyone with young or older dogs.
Used the field for an hour while visiting the area on holiday. Just the job, felt very secure, big enough for our dog who can really run fast! Nice mix of short and long grass and some fun exercise equipment. Would happily recommend.
Excellent in every way, not sure who likes it more us or the dogs
