Highly recommend
Lots of pooh left to pick up. Looks really sad on the agility field. The walk through between agility and field 2 needs improving as the tarpaulin is too low if you’ve got a reactive dog. An accident waiting to happen.
My sister recommended me here once I got my first puppy, we’ve been here twice already and going again today! It’s perfect for recall training, agility training, exercise and doggy meet ups! It’s perfect if you are worried about taking your dog off the lead as it’s fully private, fully secure and so spacious! It’s so so cheap I really couldn’t recommend anywhere else! X
All weather needs a shelter for the humans but still great for your dogs, they will still get mucky on field three
Absolutely love this dog park! It’s spacious clean and well maintained. There’s plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. The park is also equipped with water and waste bags. Dawn is lovely and accommodating. I would highly recommend.
Good space for the dogs, owners are very quick to resolve any issues – dogs enjoy it, and good price!
Can get a little muddy in and post bad weather so wearing wellies or boots isn’t a bad idea.
The all weather field solves this issue though it’s sometimes hard to find a slot, so book well in advance.
Amazing place, it’s been a life saver for our rescue pup who isn’t ready to be off-lead out in public. We’ve been in all three fields and they provide plenty of room for our pup to run in (he’s a Dobermann), and there’s also water to drink, poop bags, and a place for the humans to sit! Dawn is a star, she’s so helpful and accommodating! Couldn’t recommend this place more.

My 4 dogs love this place, they get to run around and I don’t need to worry about other dogs. Just wish everyone picked up after their dogs like we do.

Three fields for dogs great place
First time bringing our two little dogs here. They absolutely loved it. We had booked the grass field but it was raining heavily, after a short call to Dawn we were allowed to move to the all weather field. Will definitely be back!

Amazing place to take our reactive dog for fun and exercise. Great place where we can all relax, and he can enjoy an hour running around off the lead safe and sound and stress free, away from other dogs. We usually book the little all-weather field as our boy isn’t interested in the agility equipment, so it would be a waste for us, and he’s perfectly happy in the smaller field. Lovely surroundings and very well kept. Dawn is lovely and very accommodating and helpful. Couldn’t be without this place. We love it.
I do like taking my dogs here. Didn’t know there were 3 fields until recently. Don’t particularly like field 3 as nothing in it. Like field 2 with its utility equipment. Good access. Bit of an uneven road to get to. Like the trains going past. Easy to use the entry code. Water always available. Clean grounds. Feels safe to let my dogs run free.
Great agility field in field one, good size and seemed the biggest one, also includes a hut and a place to sit and watch the dogs. The only thing I would like to suggest is the water situation unless your strong enough to lift the barrels you can use them for water or if you can’t lift then take your own water.

Fantastic place for a reactive dog. I chose the agility from reading it’s the best field and it certainly is. Very flat and good ground at this time with no rain. Very easy to book and to park and to use the facility.

This is one of best dog fields I’ve been to and I’ve been a few over last 6 months. Easy parking and fields are kept in good condition considering rain we’ve had, only odd muddy patch compared to some of fields I’ve been to as they was were in shocking condition and should of been shut until sorted issues out. But very happy with Westhoughton Dog Field and will be coming regularly now.
Great place to entertain and exercise your dog, or dogs. We spent an hour there with our dog and 7 other dogs and they loved it! There’s 3 fields to choose from, water on hand with bowls, and good parking. Highly recommend 😊
Always clean. Pooh bags and water always provided. Usually some left over toys and balls too. Super easy to book online. The back field is massive and the all weather field is great fun too.
We took our 2 dogs here for some off lead training. Perfectly secure within the all weather field. Only one niggle. There where a few dog poos from the previous day. Would get 5 stars otherwise. Maybe the owner could do a circuit at the end of the day. That said, I will definitely be returning…

What can I say? Absolutely fantastic place! I’ve got a dog reactive german shepherd who I only adopted 8 weeks ago, my friend told me about this place so I booked on, simple and straightforward, the fields were well equipped and spacious, there was a seating area and table to put all your stuff on, there was water and poo bags supplied too, well, safe to say Harlie loved it! I nearly cried seeing him enjoy the freedom of being off lead and zooming around at 100mph, fantastic place and I will most definitely be back, thank you for making my dog happy ( and me too! )
Visited Westhoughton Dog Park for the first time today with our dog Lily.
The booking system was straightforward, email information was accurate and quickly received, the fields themselves were very well maintained, spacious and had water for the dogs to drink.
Really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!

recently got a 6mth old yorkie rescue, and this field has so helped her confidence and social skills with my other dog and sons dog, they all love it !

Lovely dog park. Well kept, clean and peaceful. Had a lot of fun and as it was a hot day I was glad to see plenty of water available for my dog. I did get a bit lost on the way but the owner was really helpful in getting me back on track.

The park was easy to find and your able to park right outside the field you have chosen which is great. We’ve used 2 out of the 3 fields so far and exceeded expectations both times.
We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Absolutely cracking agility field and only £10 for an hour ( up to 2 dogs ). Been to many secure dog fields and this one is coming out top in our local area now. Extra points in its favour compared to others: can book online easily, use paypal and the facilities for the humans are decent enough to keep you dry in terrible weather.

Just back from Westhoughton Dog Park with jake first time we been and jake loved it he sleeping now we had agility feild and would do again soon but some one had left the dog poo so I cleaned it up but wish owners would be more responsible
We have just returned from westhoughton with our 15 week old puppy. It was absolutely great she enjoyed every minute.
Fantastic place for the dog, it’s a shame other dog owners don’t clear their dogs mess up.

Absolutely fantastic, I own 2 very young dogs and this establishment was great to let them off the lead and to explore and run around knowing that they could not escape lol, also there was plenty of water provided for all dogs, I would recommend to everyone, my 2 dogs had a whale of a time, and I will definitely be booking a slot again.

Great place that your dog can run around off their lead in a large field but yet be completely safe as its all fenced in. £10 for an hour is a treat they and you will both appreciate.
Love it its so easy to use pay online and just go no hastle. Its so quiet and peaceful must be great 4 nervous or reactive dogs. My staffy has noise anxiety its the only safe way for him to be off lead …wish I lived near

Been a couple of times now and used the agility field and the larger field. Finding it great for teaching my puppy recall. Really easy to book. Fields are not muddy at all as we have had good weather.

Good that you can have it to yourself for your dogs but some of the equipment needs to be maintained and kept up with otherwise it will look a bit shabby and make sure your dogs the agility type other wise you’ll be stood in a cold wet dark field watching your dog run about 😁

We travelled up from East Yorkshire to meet with our husky friends. Clear directions on their website of how to get there, good parking spaces, great sized paddock (field 1) with agility equipment. Water tanks in the shelter to refill the water bowl and a bin inside the field for poo bag disposal. Great all round!
Yes, it was muddy but it is winter and we expected it, even though we all left covered in mud we (humans were just as covered as the dogs haha!) we had so much fun as did the dogs! Would definitely come again!

This is the best park ever my dogs and myself have visited. Firstly parking is brilliant right up to the gate so dogs can get out easily straight into the field. Brilliant especially if you have nervous reactive dogs. Took our 6 dogs to the agility field set out exactly how it should be plenty of fun for the dogs and good for the humans too a shelter is provided with water and water bowls , poop bags and tissue a cleaning brush the owners have thought of everything. Can’t praise this place enough and would definitely recommend highly. Great experience the actual best point for me was being able to drive right up to the gate so easy to get the dogs on the field other parks have been terrible where parking is quite a distance and its deep muddy path ways almost impossible to walk in if we’ve had a little rain
My experience here at Westhoughton for my dogs and myself was 💯 will definitely have this as our go to park. Thank you so much for providing this experience for everyone with dogs especially nervous reactive dogs which a lot of us have hot through the last 18 months of the pandemic

Big secure field for dogs to run around in. 2 fields available, x1 had agility stuff in it and the field 2 was empty. Both had water jars with drinking bowl available. Bins available. Cost £14 for 4 dogs for one hour!!
Took our two Beagles here today, and they absolutely loved it, me and my partner also got a workout aswell. Definitely be back here.

I absolutely love taking my dogs here. An hour of uninterrupted fun where I try my best to get them on the agility equipment 🤣. A good price for 2 dogs. Even if it is raining there is a shelter for owners.
Fantastic place to take my 2 dogs, the owners are always friendly and my dogs love it! There is always fresh water available for the dogs and also poo bags if you forget to bring any. Field 1 is packed with apparatus for the dogs to use for training or plenty of room if the dogs just want a run (as mine do). Field 2 is a little place of sanctuary, it is just for exercise but is so peaceful and tranquil you can literally feel the stress lifting!
The park is very secure and the owners do a fantastic job with the upkeep and really care about the experience the parks provide.
Now when I say to the dogs “shall we go to the dog park” they go crazy because they know where they are going and can’t wait to get there!!
My two miniature dachshunds loved it!
It was lovely for them to run free and play without having to worry as it’s all enclosed and safe.

Really good set up, I went with my little dog to try agility equipment as he is a bit nervous around other dogs.
He had SO much fun, I think I did too to be fair, was just so nice to not have to worry about other dogs and just focus on my doggo having fun.
There’s some tennis balls, ball throwers and spare poo bags available too!
The only mistake I made was going when it was a little too warm for him, keep an eye on the forecast and I’m sure anyone would be fine, there’s a little cool off area and water available too.
We rented field 1 with the agility equipment (even though the dog didn’t use it). The field is a good size and secure. There is a picnic bench and hut with water for the dogs.
I especially like this field as you can park right outside the entrance to the field and minimise interaction with other dogs.
We can’t wait to go back there.
Great place to take the dogs. If you have a dog that can’t be let off the lead or want a safe place to train your dog off the lead its perfect.
Its secure so you can be confident your dogs can’t escape.
Plus all the agility stuff is great too.
Theres a nice picnic table to relax on while your dogs play and water for the dogs too so they’ll be comfortable whatever the weather.
Also it’s kept really clean too. Highly recommend a trip.
Hi thought the dog park was great and an excellent idea, I just have one criticism i think it needs to be a bit more even because there are holes all over and at one point my dog was lifting his leg up after chasing the ball at speed so this has put me off coming again as I can do without a vet bill.
Generously sized field, great equipment, really secure for your dog. Great location and easy to find. A step above other local places as well because of the ease of booking via the website and how smooth the transaction is to complete. Definitely recommend.
Dont forget your wellies if its been raining as it can get muddy. Great fun for dogs without the worry of meeting other dogs or for training recall

Absolutely brilliant dog park. So safe and secure and brilliant for nervous dogs and dogs that aren’t good with other dogs. You have the whole HUUUUGE field to yourself and the owners Dawn and Donny have thought of everything: seating, water bowls, bins, secure fencing and the agility equipment is absolutely top class, no expense spared. We have been met by Dawn a few times when we’ve visited, such a lovely person who truly shows her passion in her business. Would recommend this dog park to anyone. Well worth a drive if ur not local too. Xx
Love this place. My two greyhounds really enjoy it. One loves the running and the other the sniffing. Always feel extremely secure and safe and it’s very quiet and out of the way. Owners are lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend 👌
This is the 4th and best dog play park that we have used in the last 12 months. The owners are lovely and have gone out of their way to create a safe and fun environment for both the owners and the dogs. The security cameras are a great idea. My dogs absolutely love this place.
I run makants Greyhound rescue i bring the kennell dogs also my own dogs .this place is brilliant for dogs to have fun or just chill out .Very safe and lovely people

Fantastic dog park now becoming a regular I cannot recommend this place enough. 5 stars all round my dogs adore it get so excited when they arrive ,the agility is one of the best I’ve seen ,very dog friendly and safe for them and the owners could not be any more welcoming a must visit !! FYI for all you single ladies nervous about going alone I am a lady and visit alone and feel very safe because of the secure parking right next to the park with full CCTV coverage.
I visited here with my small dog about a week ago due to not feeling safe out walking on my own . The dog area is amazing we had so much fun together, the CCTV made me feel really at ease. The area is clean and very well looked after. The owners were really helpful with any questions i had before my visit too . Would Definitely recommend to anyone with reactive or sensitive dogs or anyone who just doesn’t feel at ease in a walk with a small dog at the moment .
I would highly recommend westhoughton dog park, what a fantastic place for your dogs. After my first visit I have re booked the area for a number of different days, as they are so popular and In high demand there is a wait list but it is definitely worth it.

🐕 The area is very large inside with very secure enclosed gates giving your dog/s lots of room to run free securely.
🐕 The area is extremely clean, the grass is always freshly cut, they have the top end CCTV running all around the surroundings areas which is very rare to find considering some of the more local dog parks are really not up to scratch compared to this one.
🐕 There is a lovely shelter with a bench, with all information cards if you need to get in touch with the owners whilst using the facilities, there is water bowls for the dogs and fresh water provided, there is also lots of doggy bags in the shelter and a bin to dispose of your dogs waste that is emptied regular.
🐕 The agility equipment is absolutely fantastic, and you can clearly see a lot of money has been put in to it, not some cheap stuff, giving your dogs lots of activities to do whilst using the dog park.
🐕 it’s extremely secure leading up to the park, you turn in of the main road up a dirt track which is probably better than the roads we drive on, there is then a big lovely sign welcoming you, where you enter there is big double gates and then there is a large parking area right outside the actual area your dogs go into, you have your own key code number to enter the park so you don’t even need to worry about your dogs jumping out the car before they enter the area as its fully secure from the entrance gates.
🐕 last but not least the owners are extremely professional and friendly and go above and beyond for their customers. And price wise you won’t get better great prices and worth every penny.
This place is fantastic and the Facebook reviews and photos speak for themselves, you book a full hour or longer on the park and the exercise your dogs are able to get from it beats any walk or day care. After 1 hours with 2 very energetic dogs they come home and sleep for the evening, not only does this place physically tire the dogs out it also mentally tires them out due to the amount of activities that can be done here.

A fantastic place to bring my greyhound to run free and safe,I’ve been waiting for somewhere I would feel ticks all the boxes all the amenities are available,A great setup and safe and I would definatley recommend the park we will be back soon
This place is terrible, not much space, the grass is long and like a total swamp. its actually dangerous inside and thats not mentioning how bad the road up to it is with massive potholes. we were there for 20 minutes before the next person arrived and sat there just staring at us.
never going back again i would much rather go to the dog country club with our own toys etc. steer clear not worth a penny. feel sorry for those paying for more than 2 dogs as there is nobody around to see, speak to or complain to about this dump. nobody knows how many people or dogs are there so why pay the extra…..
