Profile
A spacious, well-maintained dog park featuring two large paddock fields (each about an acre, with one approximately the size of a football field) offering safe, fully secure off-lead exercise for dogs. The park has sturdy high fencing, double gated locks, and a 15-minute gap between bookings for privacy. Facilities include fresh running water for dogs, provided bowls, dog waste bins and bags, agility equipment (in one field), shade shelters and rain cover, picnic tables, benches, a shed with chairs, and clean onsite toilets for customers. Parking is available right outside. Booking is required in advance, and the park is suitable for all breeds, including reactive and nervous dogs, although the separation between the two paddocks is a wire fence so dogs can see each other. The park is clean, well signposted, and offers excellent communication and customer service.

Booked a few times and the field is totally secure and well maintained. However my only gripe is that the two fields are separate by a wire fence which means dogs can see each other and if you have a nervous or reactive dog it sort of defeats the whole point of having a secure field as they’re more focused on the other arena
We have been taking our two dogs here for the last few weeks and we wish we had found this earlier! The paddock are very secure with water and poo bags. Paddock 2 normally has agility equipment in which we always use with our cockapoo.
Only advice I would give people taking their dogs there is to bring a wellies as it can become very muddy if it has rained.
Great size fields for the dogs, also fresh water here aswell.
I’d recommend this for anyone looking for a private place to walk their dog/dogs. Xl bully friendly
Great secure field. Just spent an hour letting my 2 dogs run free. They loved it and both are extremely tired. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back.
coming here over a year now from London cos the Dogs Love the field & can run around with no worries . i left a video review on my fb if u wanna have a look Chris metaloi
Amazing location very clean and tidy and easy to find as they have put up plenty of signage.
The feels where clean and very Secure to keep your dogs in. Fresh water for your dogs and bows to put it in and a picnic table even a shelter for when it rains
We will 100% be going back.
Great place, nice and secure
Great place for your dog to safety run around fenced in has onsite toilet water fir dogs well maintained easy to book and pay our dog loves it there
Visited for the first time today. The arena is perfect to exercise my new rescue and practice his recall in a safe space.
Will definitely use again 🙂
And will recommend to friends
A little bit of freedom for our XL
We took our anxious dog there for the first time the other day. It was great! She was off the lead for the first time and she could run as much as she wanted! She even made a friend through the fence and they were both running together. The two arenas are separated with a fence and each arena is just over 1 acre. Plenty of space, there is water on site, there are toilets, even a little shed in each arena with two chairs so you can have a break if needed. One downside is the mud. The arenas could use some more grass, especially around the fences as it gets so muddy, your feet actually sink in and it can be difficult to walk. You definitely need waterproof clothing and footwear. We were not prepared for that and we all ended up muddy, including the inside of the car. But to be fair, given how much fun our dog had, the mud is a small inconvenience.
Booked on the 1st of March for today (2nd). I was able to pay and book a time slot easily online and pay with Google pay, I was text the secure codes within 10 minutes and we was all set!
On arrival you just enter the codes and there’s a 15 minute time slot between bookings so if your dog is like mine (anxious rescue) you don’t have to worry about bumping into other customers.
The gates and grounds are completely secure, we brought our own water and dog bags but if you forget them, they are provided.
My dog had the most fantastic time running in the rain and mud and just got to be a dog, I can’t let her off the lead in public parks so this was fabulous.
There is shelter and seats for us humans too!
Thank you!
Great place for the dogs to run around and enjoy themselves, owner really cares and popped in to say hello. Really good value for money.
Worth £15 to let the dog run freely and safely
Easy access, secure fencing dogs really enjoyed it. Water, poo bags and some tennis balls provided if you forget to bring your own. Area 1 is just a field and area 2 has some ramps and activities in there
Spacious field, well secured, rain shelter, water tap,
Superb for letting our dog run free and explore. Water, poo bin/bags and agility kit in arena 2
Brilliant. Time just flies.
Awesome Dog Park. Super helpful for my young pup who is a bit shy around other dogs. The dog meet us are awesome too. My pup has made new friends who we regularly share the field with. Couldn’t be happier with the park. Thanks to Maxine too she is super lovely and helpful, feels like I’m just having a conversation with my Mum. Thanks Maxine.
Maggie says thanks too. Woof woof
Found this place by pure luck on an internet search. Having a large breed young dog who is reactive and nervous this place is perfect. The facilities are brilliant and secure. Will definitely be making many future bookings.
Nice place to let the dogs run free without worrying about them running off and getting lost or worrying about the roads.
A brilliant facility. Our first time here this morning and we will be regulars.
Fantastic place to let dogs runaround off the lead, safe & secure, water, poo bags supplied, little ramps for the dogs to climb etc, even caters for humans, picnic table, inside area with chairs in case it rains like it did when I was there sunday, customer toilets, parking. I’m going to go once a month cos my dogs loved it.
German shepherd had amazing time
Great field for outdoor play. We loved it! Great customer service too, facilitated our time change within minutes on short notice. Much appreciated!
I’m a regular at Royal Hounds Dog Park. It’s such a brilliant place, both my dogs love it there. Maxine has thought of everything. It’s a wonderful and safe place to let your dogs run around free. I highly recommend Royal Hounds.
Wonderful experience, took my 2 little pooches with me to Arena 2. I chose this one because it has some agility obstacles, which keeps my little Ziggy nice and fit! The space is nice and big! There’s shelter if it’s raining and a bin (for all the dog poo!) I plan on coming back with a few of the family and their dogs at some point in the future because we had a whale (more like dog) of a time! Woof! – says Ziggy and WOOF!! – says Ranger
This is an amazing space and really worth paying for an hour for dogs to run and play knowing they are safe.
We have a reactive dog and always looking for new private hire fields for variety. This one is great for our dog to see other dogs and people in the next field and learn that they won’t come near him or hurt him. Only after a handful of visits he now ignores the other dogs in the other field and this gives us hope we can transfer this out in the real world soon.
The arenas are clean, a good size with lots of facilities. Poo bags, bins, secure entry and even a clean toilet
My German Shepherd absolutely loves this place. She gets excited as we pull in! Really clean and well catered for dog (and owners) needs.
Lovely enclosed dog parks, with secure parking and picnic tables. You do need to book in advance
I went for the first time yesterday with a friend and today with my three dogs, so easy to find and access. The fields are very secure and it was nice to have my nervous dog off the lead without worry. I will be going a lot more!
A great and good sized enclosed dog area. The enclosure is very safe – high fences and secure locks. There are two areas that are separated by a fence so if your dog is bothered by other dogs, this might not be the location for you. The instructions shared by the hosts are clear and easy to follow, access to the enclosure was simple, and the toilets were very clean. I would definitely recommend this place if you need somewhere safe to bring your pup for some off lead time. The area is about the size of a football field.
Excellent large area to let you dog/dog’s off the lead without the fear of other unsupervised dog’s spoiling their fun
My dog absolutely loves it there very secure good parking will definitely be going again
Great dog field
Lovley place
Dogs can play and run and exercise
A lovely secure place, the owners are very helpful.
I highly recommend
Safe and secure area to let your dog run very clean good value.
Amazing if your dog is ok with other dogs.
Just love it here. So nice to have a safe space to bring my dog. She gets nervous around cars and new places so having a safe space she can run about in and not worry is perfect.
They have great agility equipment to use for fun too and water, shady spaces, toilets the lot. Every time I’ve come it’s been no hassle getting in and out as they have sensible gaps between customers.
See you soon!!
I have been looking for a dog park like this one it safe for my dog I can let her of lead and not worry about her running off. Easy to get to and clean as well.
Well maintained and large paddock fields. All new fencing and good entry area. Good facilities and excellent communication from from the people running it. Good value.
All it is, is a large fenced off field. Strange as it is right next door to a 43 acre dog friendly park. Also it is very expensive.
Following a suggestion on Facebook we booked our session in the field today. Sunday 24th April. It is perfect. Large open field with high fence, lockable gate and a bench. We used the filed for some fun play and obedience training and the hour past so quickly. Will have to book a double slot next time. Will be back.
Brilliant space for dogs to run safely. Was our first time and won’t be out last. Water tap and bowls could be found easily and a picnic bench too.
Fantastic place for my little girl to run free,, going to be a regular place for teaching her 🦮🦮
Great idea. Each arena is a good size had a bench a poo bin and even some poo bags. Noticed a customer toilet too. First visit won’t be the last. Look for the big banners to get the right turning
Great place , my dogs had the best time . All of them are absolutely shattered and asleep.
First time at the new Royal Hounds Dog Park and the dogs loved it! A local park offering a great space to stretch the pooches legs.
Great communication from the team, easy access to the field, parking just outside the field, safe and secure once inside. On site toilet too. My girls loved running around, and the rain didnt put us off😍
The facilities are fab, running water in the field which is so so good, I use other fields and this is the first one to offer that, it’s all fresh and clean and I’m excited to book more sessions in for not only my girls but my clients too ( dog walker also! ) Thank you all 🐾❤🐕🌲
