Lovely, secure field. Our dogs loved it here and we will definitely be back. Perfect place to meet up with my son and his dogs, one of which is very large and loves to run around but still learning he can’t go bounding up to anyone he sees.
Easy to find, easy to park, lovely and flat.
Visited today with our rescue dogs for the first time and will definitely make it a regular thing. It was so nice to be able to relax and let them run without worrying about our reactive dog. Really calm and well kept environment x
A great, secure place for reactive dogs. Where you can do some training & use the equipment as well.
Secure dog play. Large enough to have off lead runs. Also they have activities on the field so you can train in agility which is brilliant. It is also out of the way so you can teach recall without distractions. Very clean and well maintained.
Not only the dog loved but the kids did too. Definitely will be going back. Very tidy and well maintained.
Absolutely love visiting Happy Meadows, my dogs have so much fun. Would reccomend to anyone, the owner of the Park is lovely and can’t do enough for you.
Lovely safe and clean environment with a friendly team. One very happy pooch will definitely return. Nice simple instructions on entering and exiting the park. Thank you 😊
Having been recommended by a dog trainer to Shauni for dog walks, Shauni has been an absolute savour for our at times reactive GSD. Starting off with solo walks, our boy very quickly took to Shauni, with the patience of a saint, friendly, professional and an excellent handler it wasn’t long before he was introduced to other members of the Happy Meadows pack.
Shauni literally would do anything to enrich the lives of all animals and has done nothing but good for us and our boy, from socialising to continued support and help with training, she is a pleasure to work with.
The parks are an absolute bonus and our boy loves his time there, clean, safe, well equipped and extremely well managed, where our boy can enjoy and mix with other dogs off lead, it really is a haven which I would highly recommend Happy Meadows Dog Parks and services to anyone.
Wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of our Rottie. Shauni is so patient with him and he clearly loves her and the undivided attention he gets when she’s here. I know that Shauni is a real animal lover and that’s at the heart of everything she does. It’s nice to have piece of mind whenever I have to leave him!
Me and my boy absolutely love coming to the dog parks, given his breed he’s not accepted in most places now but happy meadows has always been welcoming to me & him. He absolutely loves his muzzle free run time 🖤🩵
Shauni the owner is also very lovely & helpful, giving me additional training advice for my lad as he’s still only a pup and learning!
I recommend happy meadows to everyone that has a dog 😊 happy pooch & happy dog momma!
Absolutely gorgeous place to visit with your fur baby. Fully contained, once you’re in you know your dog is safe. Fully equipped and beautiful views. The owner is brilliant with animals, Shauni walks my dog twice a week and he loves her to bits. He’s a little nervous and anxious but has no problems with Shauni at all. My Bob loves the park and Shauni. Lovely lady with a big heart for animals. Fantastic. Well worth a try. 🥰🥰
Pure four legged joy
Lovely parks in a beautiful location, with lots of activity for the dogs, we love it here 🥰
Great place to take your dog for a stress free run about. The sandpit is ace!
Great place, easy to book, nicely looked after and staff always great at ironing out any issues
Happy Meadows is fantastic!
I take my 2 dogs there at least once a week.
The equipment there is great and really stimulating for both of my dogs. The grounds are also well kept and very secure. There is also shelter provided in each of the parks incase of rain etc… It really is a great place to go. It’s great value for money and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.
The owner of Happy Meadows is also such a lovely lady, who genuinely LOVES animals and puts them at the centre of everything she does which is why the parks are so great. She recently looked after my 2 dogs over night and they loved her and I completely trust her which is just what you want from someone looking after your pets.
If you haven’t been to Happy Meadows, GO! You won’t regret it!
First time we have visited with our 2 year crazy cockapoo. We were very impressed with the secure field. He loved to run and burn off his energy and we knew he was safe to do so. The field was lovely to walk round. We have already booked our next visit. Would highly recommend
First time we’ve taken our dog to this park, he loved chasing around after his ball and sniffing in the long grass, it was nice to be able to let him run around without the fear of him escaping. He’s a basset hound so his recall is sporadic at best. We would definitely bring him back.
My Frenchie loves this dog park. Great way for a dog reactive pooch to have fun off lead and be free.
Also love that XL bullies are allowed here too!
Great dog park ❤️
First time I have been here, and my new rescue dog loved been off the lead.. I could relax and watch him explore all the different obstacles.. very clean, and easy to use.. I’ll be back with both my dogs very soon. Thank you..
My puppy had the best time ever! She could run around, without a worry. The place is very secure and covered so not a problem for reactive dogs. There’s loads of different things to play with and the time flew by! Definitely coming back
Used Happy Meadows many times now with my two dogs.
What a great place!
Great facility, excellent price and the owners keep it absolutely immaculate.
If you need somewhere to try or just add something a little different to your dogs routine, give Happy Meadows a try.
Great people, great place, beautiful setting!
HappyMeadows dog park is excellently fenced, and Shauni has amazing knowledge when it comes to preventing reactivity. The whole place is designed to be a safe haven for reactive (and NOT!) dogs, and such a pleasure to be in.
On top of that, the taxi service she has started offering has opened the world for us and I am so, SO grateful.
Me and Fallon are looking forward to many more joyful outings and are extremely happy to support such a great initiative.
Parks are more than big enough and fencing is designed in a way that keeps it very private, but lets you enjoy the gorgeous views around, shelters, even if conditions get muddy (the spring is just starting) are bone dry.
50m rental in 1h long slots leaves plenty of time to arrive and disembark, keeping the parking area clear and safe.
It’s extremely hard these days to find a place where a reactive dog doesn’t end up with “oh, but he’s friendly!!!” dog running into their face, creating dangerous situation,
This, thankfully is one of them,
all the while staying extremely accessible for multi-dog households is very safe for these less social dogs.
This person banned me for no apparent reason, because I said I’ve done nothing wrong to be banned she said there you go not taking responsibility, but responsibility for what I asked, she said I had an email to say I was banned but I can assure you I didn’t receive any emails from happy meadows, and for her information I check my emails and spam folder daily several times a day, I used to leave 10 minutes early each time I went here, so didn’t leave late like some I’ve seen in past, I picked all the dogs mess up and binned it as normal, I respected the field and all it’s content, I took my 2 sprocker spaniels, I left it clean and tidy, I only ever went 2 or 3 times, I made a complaint re people leaving dog mess and not picking up, her reply was some dogs could have been runny, it wasn’t it was solid dog poo, there is a camera on each field I suggest check CCTV I also suggest check your emails and prove sent me an email because she has got the wrong person I can guarantee that, I’m 59 not a kid , she was rude and arrogant, a sarcastic laugh on the phone several times something I told her before cutting off, she is a disgusting person, not very professional at all, I sent them an email to find out why couldn’t book a field, now instead of checking first if did send me an email no rang instead, I wouldn’t use this field again if was paid to. She is sarcastic, a liar, and thinks better than everyone else in her manor towards customers, I wouldn’t recommend this company or field either to anyone
We love taking our dog here, fantastic place to let him run. Feels very safe and secure.
A Whippet’s Paradise
As a proud Whippet owner, I recently visited Happy Meadow’s dog park and found it to be an absolute gem. Here’s my review:
1. Whippet Haven: This park is a Whippet’s paradise! With ample space to sprint and play, my Whippet had the time of his life. The park’s layout allows for both off-lead freedom and secure boundaries, perfect for our breed’s energetic nature.
2. Car Park Ease: Finding parking was a breeze. The park provides convenient and accessible parking spaces, making it hassle-free for visitors. Safe turning point to exit the park safely onto the road.
3. Cleanliness: The availability of dog poo bags throughout the park ensured a clean and hygienic environment. Responsible owners make good use of these facilities, keeping the park pristine for everyone to enjoy.
4. Friendly Owner: The park owner Shauni, shares a mutual love for dogs. It’s refreshing to engage with fellow dog lovers, exchanging stories and tips as she is absolutely on point with dog training tips!
Overall, I highly recommend this dog park to Whippet owners and dog enthusiasts alike. It’s a haven where dogs can roam freely, and owners can connect with like-minded individuals in a clean and inviting environment.
Huge space which is well kitted out and very secure.
We booked the park that was recommended for 1-3 dogs and it was more than big enough to give our dog a run round. Especially since we have a large breed dog, it was definitely a lot larger than expected which was fantastic. Particularly liked the bench and small hut at the back which we could store our items in since the weather began to turn. It was nice that there were little obstacles and things to interact with to play more than just ‘fetch’ with our dog.
Absolutely fantastic facility and would definitely book again.
5* recommend ….. modern, clean and secure for dogs to be safe. Well organised place . Came with friend Cindy to help her with dog training .
Great value for money.
My dog (border terrorist) loves this place ✌️
We absolutely loved our visit. Me and my partner both said how well maintained everything is and clean.
Kovu loved it and gave it the approval so we can’t wait to be back.
Excellent enclosed area. Very clean and tidy. Poo bags and water were provided if you didn’t have your own. Highly recommended. Lots of activities in the field for the dogs to try something different.
Doggos love it here, always well maintained and reasonably priced. Good access and great facilities for the dogs.
Fantastic space for dogs to run wild. Well cared for and clean. Would highly recommend.
My pup absolutely loved it here and so did I! Beautiful scenery, so many little bits for the dogs to play with. Very clean, there’s a hut with shaded area and plenty of clean water that’s easy to access for the dogs. My puppy is still getting used to walks etc. so being near a main road to hear traffic sounds but being completely safe and secure in the field was so good for training! Plenty of space to work on recall and lead training. Just a beautiful area really, I love that I’ve got this so close to us! Cant wait to come again
Fab little field, will be coming back!
Our two great danes had an amazing afternoon running around enjoying the sunshine. Nice big area for them to have a good run around.
Great place. Very well maintained and perfect for some safe off lead play for your dogs. Useful shelter and picnic bench.
Simple and well organised, and not too expensive too.
Fabulous facilities and lovely personal touches with decorations etc. Yesterday we were provided with doggie treat bags and tea/coffee and biscuits for the hoomans 💜
Great idea .. easy to book online but currently suffering from the heavy rain … there almost a stream running through Dog Park 1.
I will wait until it’s dried out then I’ll definitely book again as it’s a safe space.
Nothing but a 5* review for shauni and her team running Happy meadows. As a professional dog trainer & dealing with a variety of dogs with different behavioural issues. I find both parks the ideal environment for training and working with each of my clients dogs, as they are safe, secure and not lacking in facilities that I can utilise. There are always fresh bottles of water, poo bags available & other great ideas for stimuli. Not only do I bring customers dogs here I also use the parks for my own working & competition dogs as it’s a great place for me to work with my dogs without distraction from the general public.
Shauni always goes above and beyond where she can & the park is always monitored to ensure it’s kept safe for each user.
I’ve found it extremely helpful having access to happy meadows as a dog trainer & doggy day care due to the amount of incidents that happen in public areas with unruly off lead dogs and thankfully happy meadows ensures that we don’t have that problem.
🐾💞
Absolutely bloody loved it here. So beautiful. Lots for the doggies to keep entertained. The shelter is lush. Looking forward to better weather when I can take a picnic 😊 Honestly the best dog park ever ❤️
We went in the snow, dogs loved it! Addition of a shelter was very welcome
We regularly attend this field and have only ever had positive experiences. Great place to take the dogs!
My rescue dog Bill is scared of most things, moving cars and bikes, wires, folding clothes, dish cloths 🤷. To find a dog park, in particular Pookie’s Place and to watch Bill running around free, tail in the air, dive bombing at me is the best feeling in the world. The views are amazing, parking spot on, secure fencing and did I already say Bill loves it. We have tried a few dog fields but this one is worth the 50 min round trip. From one very happy Bill and his Mum 🐾❤️
This is an amazing secure field for dogs! It’s not just fields but there are quite a few different things for your dog to do including a sandpit, raised surfaces for agility and even a cosy area for us humans to sit if the weather is a bit naff. It’s in a beautiful part of the world and ideal for all dog owners, in particular owners of reactive or nervous dogs who need a break and a stress free hour.
Brilliant dog field! We’ve been waiting for a dog field to open up close enough to visit in the morning before work and we couldn’t be happier with these fields. Our dogs love the agility equipment, and we enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding hills in the sunrise.
Had an amazing experience at Happy Meadows two large field areas to choose from, signposted well and very accessible. Nice and secure and especially loved the agility equipment, the extra attention to detail like the sand pit (which my dogs absolutely loved) makes it different from others we’ve been to in the past. Will 100% be back!
Good all rounder this one. Good parking, nice and secure, relatively clean as long as EVERYONE picks up after their pooches.
A portaloo would make it perfect (for the owners)
Super area for the puppy to race about and do zoomies! Very secure and safe. We will return!
A great little place to give your dog a run without worrying about other dogs or your dog running off.
We have a beagle cross that has zero recall. We have been to other parks before but this one is alot closer to home. Ample parking for the crossover period. We were in park 2. Both parks have agility equipment and a shelter and toys. Water bowl and dog waste bins within the area. Going to try park 1 next time to compare shelters. Field is nice and square so good for running around. We took a flask of tea just incase it was too cold but we were fine.
We hired Jan’s place for our 6month old working cocker spaniel, to work on her training and recall , what a fantastic place it is knowing our dog was safe in the secure field. We will definitely be regulars here .
Absolutely fantastic area to let the dogs run off lead, we booked the field called Jan’s Happy Place and felt that the area was very secure. We recently adopted a nervous rescue dog too and even he felt secure enough to run and zoom without much worry! Good selection of dog toys and agility equipment too which I plan to have a better go with next time we come.
Fabulous secure doggy play park, with a covered viewing area and picnic bench for the two legged visitors.
Our dogs loved the freedom and we loved knowing they could do zoomies safely. Even the rain didn’t spoil the visit. Thank you and we will be back.
Hi just wanted to share this.
I booked at both Pookies place and Jan’s place(both at Happy Meadows dog park).
I have to say it far excelled expectations.
This was both in terms of location, provision. Of toys training equipment, sensory equipment and shelter.
Shauni, you have gone that extra mile
I must say Sha
