Great place to let your dogs have a free run, parking is just enough for one car and one waiting. Access is easy off a quiet road. Lots of dog bags & bins so no excuse for not picking up. Water is plentiful on tap, a few tyres, tunnel and a sand pit to dig in. Grass is a bit thin this time of year to be expected so wellies/ boots essential. Booking on line and best done in advance as it’s very popular 👍🏼😊
Amazing idea. Fully enclosed al dog was safe. Great for my pup who isn’t able to walk off leash, he loved it here playing of leash safe from other dogs
Fully enclosed with a little tuck shop, my dog absolutely loves coming here.
Dogs had a blast..
Great dog park 👍. Very secluded with mature trees, shrubs etc! We stopped off on our way up North, heading home. Dogs had fun sniffing around, and digging in the sandpit, which I thought was great 😊. Mam and I had our lunch at the picnic table, brilliant! Would definitely stop here again, owner very nice and accommodating, thankyou 🙏
First time we’ve been, there’s a good size field with a couple of shelters an honesty box with dog treats, booking field was easy and a good price both dogs loved it I’ll definitely be using it again.
Fantastic facility for any dog owner. An enclosed field with water on tap (literally), a sand pit & a tunnel
Great space, well maintained and very well organised and run.
Nice little spot. Dogs love it and it’s easy to get parked into the field so your dogs are safe.
Very muddy so wear sensible footwear was more dog poo left than expected but we did report it and was told they would come and inspect the area .our Dog loved running around
Excellent field. So easy to use and my dogs loved it will definitely be returning
Bowcliffe dog enrichment park has been a life saver. My reactive dog needs to be able to let out all that pent up energy as I am not able to let him off lead. Gail always thinks of new and ingenious ways to mix things up a bit! Either a new activity or some new comforts for dogs and owners. The field is large, very secure and there are plenty of things to sniff at and play with. Being able to take him to that field has improved the bond with my dog greatly and it’s wonderful to see him run around and enjoy life. I try and go whenever I can and the field is always immaculate. Well done and thank you Gail!!!
Fantastic facility. Dogs absolutely love running here.
Loved it – the dogs had a blast and it is a really nice set up! We will be back!
Great field for curious dogs. Not local to where we live but very useful since we were visiting nearby. Our dog really enjoyed her run-out.
Today was my first visit and I’ll definitely be back! I’m heavily pregnant with 4 big dogs, one is dog reactive and one refuses recall regularly, I also often have a toddler in tow which makes it very difficult to find somewhere suitable to walk them. It was so lovely to relax and just enjoy my dogs and concentrate on some training without having to have eyes in the back of my head watching out for other dog walkers. The area is lovely and clean with lots of things for the dogs to do. Nice flat area to play ball and the dogs loved the fresh water. My little girl loved running around with the dogs in a safe place.
Wide open space for the dogs to run, a sand pit and a small tunnel for them to enjoy. And best of all, fresh water and bowls ready to go!
Also the humans have a picnic bench and two wind shelters to choose from.
It was our 1st time with the dogs here, fantastic hour for us , the dogs off the leads to play as they can be a handful, very clean and tidy and seating area, definitely recommend
First time using as wanted to test recall of new dog. Safe, clean and easy to access. Recommend taking a change of footwear unless you like a muddy car ( I forgot) 🙄
Lovely owner , nice shelter . Loved it !!
Great space to let your dog run stress free
Perfect. Has two shelters, a picnic bench, a large doggy sand pit and mains water.
Dogs loved it great sand pit and lots of sniffs
Great wide open space for dogs to stretch their legs. Have been coming here for a few months now and the field is always clean and well looked after.
Great dog park!
My pup loves it.
Excellent facility although a bit noisy as it’s situated next to the A1. Completely fenced in, secure, thoughtfully laid out with shelters, sandpit , fresh water, pooh bin and a spare supply of bags in case you’d forgotten yours. Great place to train new dogs in a secure field. We’ll be back!
Great place to exercise and train dogs like mine who need to be off lead to get maximum benefit from the exercise but whose recall leaves a lot to be desired.
The only thing I’d change is putting the Canine and Raw logo on the roadside instead of on the gate (or as well as) because it’s really easy to drive past and not notice it on the gate if you haven’t been before.
Excellent facility
Excellent facility, big enough to run around and play, with a mixture of grass lengths, water and sand pit. It also contains a smaller enclosed area inside the main one with a shelter and a bench
We’ve tried a fair few dog parks in the past, some we’ve enjoyed, others not so much, so I have a fair understanding of what I like from those places.
My favourite features:
1. Fenced off car parking so dogs can’t escape.
2. Water supplied
3. Large area for the dogs to play
4. Seating area
5. COVID friendly facilities
6. Cheap
Looks like I’ll be coming back to this enclosed field a lot more times in the future as it met all 6 of my favourite features.
I will also add that there is a sand pit for the dogs to play in, tyres to climb on, a large mound to climb on (with a tunnel through it) and a seating area (have I mentioned the seating area already? 😉)
We went on a dry day, so I can’t comment on how well the site handles excessive rain.
